WELL DONE THIS WEEK TO…

Eden Steltner for her “exemplary” behaviour during Class 1’s trip to Snipedales with all the other schools! Good Girl Eden! There were lots of people there from other schools and I know a couple of other grown-ups have said how beautifully behaved you were! A real credit to the school! Mrs. Turner would also like a mention for Charlotte Apps, Tilly Wardenier and Eden Steltner (again!), because they did such a great job singing ALL the songs at Snipedales!! Brilliant girls! Mr. Martin would like a mention for ALL of CLASS 3 because they were FANTASTIC at the Dance Festival at King Edwards yesterday. It was not just the dancing that was brilliant either-Mr. Martin says the behaviour was too! (But what about Mr. Martin’s dancing?!??).
Miss. Howden says that Dale has worked incredibly hard in Numeracy ALL week and consequently made some super progress! Miss. Howden says he was also a brilliant team player during sports on Wednesday afternoon! I would like to mention Max Magner and Scott Marsh in year 5 who have both been quietly getting on with their work in Literacy and Numeracy and both have made very valid contributions to lessons-well done lads! I really enjoy working with you both! Finally Reece Lewis has a mention from Miss. Brakespear for a really great start to school (he is always so keen to get here!!) AND Miss. Brakespear says he is always smiling!! Good Boy!! AND so is Miss. Brakespear, so a sticker for her too!
The GOLDEN DUSTER this week goes to Class 2!!
The house with the most points this week is LADY JANE with a new record of 72!!

SCHOOL CHAT!

A busy time as we get to the end of the academic year and this past week has been no exception!
CLASS 1 took part in the Spilsby Area Primary Schools infant event at Snipedales! The weather was true to form for this trip but did manage to hold off being too wet this year! The schools all joined in the sing-song and had their picnic!
Year 3 and 4 joined the Dance Festival at King Edwards and had a great time! They have been demonstrating a range of skills on the playground including teaching cheer leaders skills!
The GREENHOUSE which was purchased with a grant Mrs. Cragg successfully bid for was officially opened on Wednesday with press coverage!! A beautiful blue ribbon was cut and photographs taken-the Queen could not have done it better! We look forward to lots of produce and green fingers!!!
Mrs. Howitt and Mrs. Johnson have been on their two-day ‘Lets Get Cooking’ training this week! More scrumptious ideas to cook! We get funding through this initiative, not just for the training but for equipment and resources too!
Can all helpers for the Lincoln Show be in school by 8.30am for a ‘briefing’ of how we are organising the children, risk assessments and how we are organising the day, along with the learning activities to support our curriculum work in class! Thank you! ALL CHILDREN WILL NEED LUNCH IN A THROW AWAY BAG - all medication to be with adults but children will be carrying their own bags and lunches!
